Service Delivery Manager

Salary: £40,000 per annum with an annual performance bonus and a company car/car allowance plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. 6am - 2:30pm Working 1 in 6 weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Location: Westminster, London.

What you'll be doing;
  • Using digital systems on a daily basis to manage services and people
  • Lead the day to day operations to develop a motivated team that constantly meets operational and performance objectives
  • Ensure the budget is met and used to maximise productivity
  • Manage the frontline collection service and supervise up to 60 employees
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently
  • Reduce lost work hours due to sickness, accidents and injuries
  • Manage fleet compliance including daily checks and ensure vehicles are compliant with the Road Transport Directive, Working Time Regulations and Waste Regulations
  • Investigate safety incidents, underperformance and disciplinary incidents
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage staff usage and agency costs
  • Manage people & assets to deliver efficient & profitable service

What we're looking for;
  • Ability to engage with residents and work with the local client
  • An awareness of Health and Safety at work regulations
  • Experience in training staff and delivering toolbox talks, e.g. manual handling trainer
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills
  • Driving Licence
  • Previous use of digital systems to manage services & people - Desirable
  • IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH - Desirable
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience, Transport CPC, COTC/CMS - If a suitable candidate does not possess these, full training will be provided
