We are recruiting in the South West for a recognised and well-respected Water Treatment / Pre-Commissioning company who are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment / Pre-Commissioning Engineer. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out the balancing and measuring of flow rates, primary and secondary balancing of water systems, cooling tower cleans and disinfections in line with relevant Health and Safety / BSRIA guidelines. You will be working across Educational, Healthcare, Local Authority, and Industrial sites.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bath, Shepton Mallet, Trowbridge, Ilminster, Weston-super-Mare, Minehead, Taunton, Bridgewater, Tiverton, Barnstaple, Exeter, Exmouth, Torquay, Swindon, Chippenham, Warminster, Andover, Malbrough, Devizes, Cirencester, Stroud, Gloucester.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Extensive hands-on experience working for an established Water Treatment / Pre-Commissioning company working as an engineer.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to carry out work in line with relevant Health and Safety & BSRIA guidelines.
" Excellent time management skills.
" Able to carry out work in line with site specific plans.

Carrying out various Pre-Commissioning & Water Treatment duties in line with relevant Health and Safety / BSRIA guidelines, inducing:
" Pre-commissioning cleans of LTHW and CHW systems & chemical cleans on minor and major pipework within systems.
" Balancing, inspecting, and validating clients air and water systems.
" Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
" Pre-commissioning valves.
" Backflushing of systems.
" Acid descales.
" Ensuring to accurately check water flow rates and velocities.
" Full system chlorinations.
" Ensuring to calibrate equipment prior to carrying out work to ensure accuracy.
" Fitting valves to new and existing systems.,
" Ensuring to carry out work in line with site specific plans.
" Prducing detailed reports based on site findings.
