What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering high standards of teaching and learning to ensure all pupils have a successful start to their school career
• Promoting the school ethos and vision in all aspects of school life
• Setting high expectations for all pupils and supporting staff
• Taking responsibility for a class throughout the school day, including lesson preparation and classroom management
• Providing quality teaching and learning opportunities tailored to the full range of children's abilities
• Leading a curriculum subject or key area, including resource management and communication with the management team
• Developing excellent working relationships with parents, colleagues, and outside agencies
• Participating in parents’ evenings, workshops, school functions, and professional development meetings

About You

• Be able to do the job as described
• Qualified teacher or NQT with evidence of professional development
• A teacher who excites children to learn with up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum or Foundation Curriculum
• Strong IT skills and effective assessment strategies
• Excellent behavior management strategies and the ability to work successfully with others to achieve common goals
