Social Worker JOB DESCRIPTION

* Children's Workforce Academy Lead, the candidate will be an experienced and registered children's social worker and a Practice Educator. They will have strong experience in Children's Service, having previously managed and supervised social workers. They will have good understanding in workforce development and training.

* They will be motivated, inspired and creative in their working approach and have the passion to drive the Academy forward. The role will support the Head of Service of Workforce Development and Learning including supporting and leading Workforce Development from a practice perspective across Children's Services Provide leadership to all Practice Development Officers and Workforce Coordinators in the team. Recruit, induct and train team members. Develop and deliver robust training programmes across the workforce i.e. ASYE / Apprenticeships / Step-up's. Coordinate, plan, design and evaluate training opportunities for all learners £46ph limited status, inside IR35 Initial 3 month placement 3 days per week on site

The city is well connected by rail, and road and is easily accessible and commutable from nearly cities and towns.

Social Worker Requirements

- Proven experience in working with childrens services
- Current enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
