Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in process safety engineering to join their client in Deeside. As an industry leader in building manufacturing, safety is their top priority, and we are looking for a talented individual who shares the same passion for keeping their employees and customers safe.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement process safety management systems - Lead and manage a team of process safety engineers - Conduct process safety audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards - Review and approve process safety plans for new projects - Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to process safety - Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to eliminate risks - Work closely with the production team to ensure safety measures are followed - Provide training and guidance to employees on process safety procedures - Conduct investigations and root cause analysis for any process safety incidents - Collaborate with other departments to develop and improve safety culture within the organisation- Manage process safety budgets and resources effectively

Requirements: - Technical Qualification in Engineering (Degree)- Strong and solid background in process safety engineering, with at minimum 3 years in a management role - Strong knowledge of process safety regulations, codes, and standards - Proven track record of developing and implementing process safety management systems - Excellent leadership and managerial skills - Ability to conduct process safety audits and investigations - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Experience in building manufacturing is highly preferred The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and results-driven individual with a deep understanding of process safety engineering principles. They will have a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing effective control measures.
