Job DescriptionStaff Nurse - Day Shifts30 hours per week (2 x long shifts and 1 x short shift) £20.50 per hour ** £2,000 welcome bonus ** We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our client's nursing home and provide exceptional care to their elderly residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elderly care, dementia care, and palliative care, and hold a valid RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification.
Qualifications - RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification and valid UK NMC Pin
- Proven experience in elderly care, dementia care, and/or palliative care
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families

Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to elderly residents, including those with dementia and palliative care needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents and their families
- Support and mentor junior staff members
