SEN HLTA

Introduction

Qualiteach Yorkshire are currently partnered with an alternative provision based in Leeds who are currently looking to recruit a SEN HLTA to join them after half term.

Job Title Responsibilities

* You will plan and prepare lessons with teachers, participating in all stages of the planning cycle, including lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans

* You will teach whole classes covering PPA, within an agreed system of supervision and within a pre-determined lesson framework

* You will motivate and progress pupils' learning by using clearly structured, interesting teaching and learning activities

* You will use behaviour management strategies in line with the school's behaviour policy to contribute to a purposeful learning environment and encourages pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others

Job Title Requirements

* HLTA Qualification or experience covering lessons as a cover supervisor

* Excellent behaviour management

* Experience planning lessons or contributing to planning

* Previous experience of working effectively with young people preferably in a school setting
