Maintenance Engineer | Alfreton | Permanent | £36,000 | Monday - Friday | 8am - 3.30pm
Cherry Professional are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to conduct Maintenance on a range of production machinery and carry out site maintenance and improvement tasks.

Responsibilities:
•    Diagnosing faults with machinery
•    Servicing and emergency repairs
•    Attend emergency breakdowns
•    Maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatics
•    Carry out maintenance and repairs to a range of production machinery, maximising machine availability for production and minimising breakdowns and down time.
•    Develop and maintain knowledge of machinery used in the plant in order to fault find.
•    Respond to equipment faults, unplanned problems, and repairs, fitting new parts and ensuring equipment is working effectively, with through checking processes in place. 
 
Ideal Candidate:
•    General education to GCSE level
•    An apprenticeship or qualification in a mechanical or engineering subject would be an advantage
•    Proven experience of carrying out maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment
•    Hands-on practical workshop skills 
•    Good electrical control knowledge and skills
•    Good mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge and skills
