We are looking for a Personal Advisors to start an ongoing role in the Southwark area.

Rate: £20.98 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week (9am-5pm) need to be available to work late evenings and weekends if needed

Contract: Office based

Successful candidate will be working in Care Leavers and Looked After Children Team.

Duties:

* To support and enable young people who are currently in care, and those who have left care and are eligible for leaving care services, to make a successful transition to adulthood through practical and planned interventions.

* To provide a comprehensive and effective service, assessing need, and planning and working purposefully with young people.

* To support our young people, their networks and professionals, to manage risk, safeguard young people, and promote positive outcomes.

* To provide a service which is relationship-based and works collaboratively with our young people, centred around our young people, and which responds in a timely manner within statutory guidelines, working collaboratively with the team.

Requirements:

* Knowledge of relevant regulations around youths and care leavers

* Experience working with children and young adults

* Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

* Excellent communications skills

* Clear Enhanced DBS on the online update service or willing to obtain one
