This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Manager to work in main contracting environment across a variety of hotel, residential, education and commercial developments valuing from £5m up to £30m. About the role of Design Manager:

Coordinating design activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the desired quality.
Managing the design team and responsible for delivering projects in accordance with client's requirements.
Understanding and managing changes to scope, budget, and programme.
Identifying project risks and opportunities and escalating any matters to the Design Manager and site team at the earliest opportunity.
Manage the on-site delivery of projects working closely with the Project Manager and Site Managers and visiting live sites regularly.
Lead Design Team Meetings, taking minutes and reporting back to the Design Manager.Requirements for the Design Manager role:

Degree or equivalent qualification with experience working on similar projects.
Experience of working within a main contractor, developer, or consultancy.
A hard working and organised individual, who is a team player, reliable and shows initiative.
Technically minded, possesses good attention to detail and is happy visiting sites and managing the delivery of projects.
