The Junior Merchandiser will support the Merchandiser and wider team to ensure commercial assortment in retail stores, maintaining availability and providing support analysis on decision making. An exciting opportunity to join a growing merchandising team & implement new processes for a growing store portfolio.

Client Details

A great opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser to join a contemporary & active apparel business in the Derbyshire area. They are a Ecommerce & Wholesale company that have seen strong growth of the past 3 years. With offices in South Yorkshire, London and LA. Due to this they are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join the Merchandising team.

Description

  • Accurately undertake product set-up within the internal System.
  • Work with the Merchandiser to ensure purchase orders are raised and sent to suppliers within given deadlines.
  • Action daily replenishment orders to the companies Stores.
  • Review retail stock levels and make recommendations to improve assortment & stock levels, ensuring the best sell thought & availability.
  • Review proposed stock transfers between stores and back to DC.
  • Aid Retail stock take processes, ensuring inventory management system is kept accurate and up to date.
  • Support Import Merchandiser with system updates & amends.
  • Build strong working relationships with retail teams & operations functions.
  • Strive to introduce best practices across the merchandising team and replenishment processes.
  • Support Merchandiser with Ecommerce launch data and intake reporting.
  • Ad hoc reporting to help support Merchandiser with decision-making for retail.

Profile

  • Highly organised, numerical, and analytical.
  • Strong Excel skills are essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous knowledge using Netsuite is advantageous and/or other inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a fast-paced team.
