Quantity Surveyor | £65,000 - £85,000 + package | Essex | Main Contractor | Permanent

We are on the lookout for a sharp and decisive Quantity Surveyor to step up to a superb £60m high-end mixed-use development in the Trafalgar Square area. This isn't any old job, this is an M&S job (disclaimer: it's not really an M&S job but it is a chance to help define a project in one of London's prime locations).

With a 50/50 split between office and site, the Quantity Surveyor will cover the whole suite of duties from forecasting, strategising and budgeting, to cost management, working with contractors and ensuring every £ and sqft is accounted for.

You will own the financials, control costs and make smart decisions to ensure the contractor delivers excellence at all times, on schedule and within budget.

Who you are:

* An experience Quantity Surveyor who has tackled large projects and can navigate both office and site demands with ease.

* Detail-driven professional with a love for numbers and the ability to spot and rectify risks before they've even hit

* Ambitious and impact-oriented - you are keen to make a mark, get things done quickly and efficiently and get things right.
