Job Description: Nursery Practitioner

Location:

North West England, Lancashire, Chorley

Job Type:

Temporary, Full-Time hours

Salary:

£12.90 - £13.40 Per hour

Job Duties:

1. Engage with children in a nurturing and educational manner

2. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities

3. Monitor and observe children's progress and behaviour

4. Ensure a safe and stimulating environment

5. Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

- Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification

- DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)

- First Aid certification

Education:

- GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a nursery setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

- Understanding of child development

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Safeguarding training

- Food Hygiene certification

Working Conditions:

- Fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Physical requirements such as lifting and bending

- Potential exposure to illnesses

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
