37.5 Hours per week Monday to Friday (3-month interim role)

Our client, a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions in a unique and picturesque location are looking for their next service manager. Is this you?

The Service Manager role involves providing direct support to the Care & Support Manager with the day-to-day management and leadership of 8 Team leaders. There would also be the expectation to step up into the role of Care and Support Manager in their absence.

The Service Manager will assist in promoting the charity's core values, both socially & environmentally. Furthermore, there will be the expectation of ensuring care & support is delivered to the highest standard and an emphasis on promoting choice, independence & empowering the people that access the service to live independent and fulfilled lives.

We are looking for a candidate that possesses previous social care sector experience (adults with learning disabilities experience is an essential requirement) with a proven track record of success within a management role.

This should ideally be at Deputy Manager level as a minimum, however if you are team leader with the relevant skills and experience your application will still be considered providing you are able to demonstrate that you have been able to achieve positive outcomes for residents and staff within a previous role and have stepped up to support in a more senior role when required.
