Here at Constellation, we are looking for confident, outgoing individuals to join our rapidly growing team at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). Not only will you be a key team member at this venue, but you will also be able to work at other events/ venues across the country.

We are entering an exciting period at the EICC with various events in the coming months. You'll be working at conferences, private events and corporate dining events!

No two days are the same, one day you could be helping run a small conference for 50 guests, and the next supporting a large event for 1000. We like to keep things interesting, which is why our team love working here.

Pay Rate

£12.00 per hour + holiday pay.

Paid weekly.

Working Hours

We believe in flexible working which means you can work around your other commitments, whether this is second job, university, family etc... you can work as much or as little as you want. Main Responsibilities

Based in our busy and vibrant event spaces, your main task will be to provide excellent customer service to our guests. You will be required take food to tables, drink service, clear glasses and plates, buffet service and most importantly... help give our guests the best experience possible. Your duties may include written orders, or the use of electronic till and ordering systems.

Skills / Qualifications

Previous experience working within hospitality, especially catering highly advantageous.

Familiarity with ‘butterfly’ service is a bonus.

General knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.

General knowledge of dealing with allergens and food restrictions.

Excellent communication and remaining calm under pressure.

Great work ethic with a great attitude!
