About the Project:
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to oversee a high-profile industrial refurbishment project in Milton Keynes. This exciting role involves managing all aspects of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The Role:
As the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful planning, execution, and handover of the refurbishment. You'll be the key point of contact for the client, managing the site team and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial setup to final handover.

* Develop and manage the programme, ensuring all milestones are achieved.

* Lead daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, managing schedules and logistics.

* Monitor and control project budgets, reporting regularly on financial performance.

* Conduct regular client and stakeholder updates, maintaining excellent communication.

* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Ideal Candidate:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager on industrial refurbishment or construction projects.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.

* Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client and stakeholder liaison.

* Knowledge of UK construction standards and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

* Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

* Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.

* First Aid certification is advantageous.
