Training and Development Manager

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on suitablity and experience plus package.
Are you passionate about developing talent and driving innovation in the engineering sector? We're looking for an exceptional Training and Development Manager to join a specialist civil engineering Contractor based in London.

About the Role:
Reporting to our People Director, you'll be a key member of their team, responsible for:
* Developing and leading the training and development plan.
* Ensuring all employees are qualified and compliant.
* Identifying skill gaps and creating tailored learning interventions.
* Managing relationships with external training partners and educational institutions.
* Overseeing the training budget and maximising cost-effective delivery.
Your focus will be to futureproof the workforce, ensuring the team has the right skills and behaviors to meet the needs of their projects and stakeholders. You'll also play a crucial role in supporting the "grow our own" strategy through early careers and upskilling programs.
About You:
* You have a passion for delivering high-quality training and development.
* You're an excellent communicator, highly organised and customer service-oriented.
* Must have experience working in a similar role for a Construction company.
* Must have an understanding and experience of Section 106.
* You have an eye for detail and meticulous record-keeping skills.
* Experience in a similar role or ready to step up to this challenge.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relationship building.
