Ethan James Group are working on behalf of a Small Medium Enterprise Commercial contractor responsible for everything within a commercial environment from design through the Facilities Management and Maintenance to recruit an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for managing multiple projects at one time across Berkshire, Home Counties & London.

The ideal Project Manager will ideally come from an office/commercial M&E & fabric background with experience in running multiple project from inception to completion up to £2 million.

Duties of the Project Manager will be

* Supporting the preparation of tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business

* Developing and presenting project proposals

* Meeting with clients to find out their requirements

* Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales

* Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts

* Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients

* Managing construction schedules and budgets

* Dealing with any unexpected costs

* Attending site meetings to monitor progress

* Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers

* Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities

* Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards

* Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client's own representatives

* Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project

* Working on-site and in an office.

* Studying the requirements, duties and obligations of the company under contracts to ensure alignment with the company's goals and industry regulations.

* Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

* Researching business partners and their history prior to writing or signing contracts.

* Monitoring the implementation and performance of signed contracts.

* Training, supervising and managing the contract team.

* Maintaining, updating and improving contractual records.

Essential Attributes

* Qualified to minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Fabric

* Prince 2 or APMP highly desireable

* Proven experience of managing multiple projects within commercial environemnts

* Strong leadership skills

* Business management skills

* The ability to use your initiative

* Good verbal communication skills
