TSR Legal are working with a Legal 500 firm who now have a new opportunity within their legal financial & central accounts team in Bexleyheath as an Assistant Legal Cashier. This integral role within a bustling environment offers a chance to hone skills in financial operations, client interaction, and legal compliance.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities including managing communications from multiple offices, processing transactions using the SOS accounting software, and ensuring the accuracy of client ledgers. Daily tasks will also encompass the handling of client receipts, bills, and payments, as well as the meticulous preparation of bank reconciliations.
Ideal candidates will bring a numerical aptitude and familiarity with legal accounting practices, although those with a foundational understanding and a willingness to learn will also be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and a courteous demeanour are essential. Experience with SOS software or similar platforms is highly regarded, as is knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules.
