Waste Management Team Leader - NIGHT SHIFT

Our client is a leading company in fresh produce. Who are committed to maintaining high standards and providing reliable solutions to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Yard/Waste Management Team Leader to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations within the yard and waste management area, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
- Lead and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure all team members achieve their potential and step in for shift supervisors in their absence.
- Operate and oversee the use of Forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure effective handling of materials.
- Coordinate waste management processes, ensuring all waste is disposed of in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to yard and waste management activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Follow strict H&S Guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a team leader or in a supervisory role, particularly within a yard or waste management setting.
- Proficiency in operating Forklifts and MHE, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage team dynamics and operational priorities effectively.
- A good level of English is required for effective communication and documentation purposes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle challenges with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
