Shift Pattern: Start time: 5/6 am

Week 1 - Wednesday - Saturday

Week 2 - Monday , Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 3 Monday - Thursday

Week 4 - 5 days off with he option for overtime

Job Description:

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join their team based in Crawley. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations (home delivery) in a Class 2 (7.5T) vehicle while ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries and collections.

* Adhere to scheduled delivery times and routes.

* Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.

* Ensure goods are loaded and unloaded securely, with proper handling techniques.

* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.

* Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.

* Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

* Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, including tachograph rules and road safety laws.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license.

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* Previous experience in a similar driving role as a Class 2 Driver .

* A strong understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations.

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
