Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to lead and manage pediatric therapy services at Stockport NHS Trust. This senior role involves providing advanced therapeutic care, guiding junior staff, and contributing to service development. It's an excellent opportunity for a skilled therapist ready to take on a leadership position in pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct expert assessments and deliver specialized interventions for children with complex physical, developmental, and sensory needs.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of therapists, providing clinical supervision and mentorship.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with substantial experience in pediatric care.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in managing complex caseloads and providing advanced therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement.
