Job Purpose
- Lead tax computations for a significant client portfolio and oversee the tax compliance process.
- Delivering trusted advisory and technical knowledge.
- Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, being their go-to senior advisor.
- Oversee the work of the tax team, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
- Provide strong people management skills, managing workflow and mentoring junior staff.
- Communicate technical matters in an easy-to-understand way.
- Work closely with Partners on complex tax planning and advisory.
- Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to improve workflow.
- Drive the tax function’s strategic direction by scoping new business opportunities and identifying new service lines for the existing portfolio.
- Set an example to the team as a hands-on and proactive Partner Designate.

The Successful Applicant
- CTA qualified with several years’ tax experience within practice.
- Possibly also ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong business development skills and a passion to drive business growth.
- Previous supervisory experience with great people management skills.
- Adept at building trusted relationships within a client facing role.
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
- Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to inspire those around you.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and sound organisation skills.
