My client, a well known business in the Newcastle area is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing IT Team!

Role & responsibilities:

* Manage and deliver technical projects aligned with the client's goals.

* Develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure proper communication.

* Support ISO27001, Cyber Essentials+, and other certifications.

* Maintain and enhance IT systems, infrastructure, and services.

* Collaborate with Managed Service Providers to improve infrastructure.

* Act as an escalation point for the support team and provide mentoring.

* Recommend improvements to IT processes and systems.

* Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.

* Uphold the client's core values and perform additional tasks as needed.

It would be highly desirable if you have used the below:

* M365, Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, Windows 10, 11, VMWare and Azure IaaS, SQL Server, etc

* Good working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and basic computer hardware components
