We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading name in the fuel distribution industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join their regional transport team and play a key role in driver development, compliance, and safety.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be responsible for on boarding and training new drivers, ensuring health & safety compliance, and enhancing driver performance. This is a hands-on role, working both on the road and at the depot, where you'll lead training sessions, investigate incidents, and support transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver driver training and on boarding programs

* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies

* Conduct post-accident investigations and driver performance reviews

* Lead driver briefings, toolbox talks, and training workshops

* Monitor tachograph performance and ensure compliance with working time regulations

* Provide operational support, including traffic office duties and vehicle checks

What We're Looking For

* Experience as a Driver Trainer within transport or fuel distribution

* C+E Licence (essential)

* Full ADR Licence (required)

* PDP and Driver CPC qualifications (essential)

* Certifications such as SAFED or ROSPA (preferred but not essential)

* Strong knowledge of transport compliance, safety regulations, and driver best practices

This role is Monday - Friday, primarily on the road, with occasional office-based duties.
