Are you an experienced Contracts Manager, eager to achieve with the skills to lead and most importantly motivate our clients existing teams? We would like to hear from you!

In this new and exciting role, you'll be building on our brand by contributing to the positive impact we have on the environment and people around us.
With responsibilities for the management of the large landscape and environment projects, but also the smaller ones, which will include hard and soft landscaping, countryside management, peatland restoration, access and biodiversity net gain to name just a few.

You'll be in a relaxed and non-corporate setting, will set targets and a budget with an inspiring team that all share a passion for the countryside.
Working alongside our established management teams and ecological consultants, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your own division.
With 140 people employed across 4 beautifully appointed rural offices with a turnover will hit £10m - so much opportunity to grow and develop, we mean what we say!

Key Responsibilities

Expanding the existing client base within the area.
Customer relations - Meeting with clients, liaising with clients and employees, implementing requirements and policies.
Management and development of your team, work schedules, and site inspections.
Health & Safety - implementing of policies, employee and equipment inductions, PPE and site inspections.
Quotations and estimates and developing on opportunities the company may receive.
Pre-qualification questionnaires and Invitation to Tenders
Liaising with our Ecological and Consultancy divisions, ensuring works are carried out lawfully and in keeping with environmental best practice.
Liaising with other company departments including Arboriculture, Consultancy, Finance and HR

Essential Experience

​Previous Environmental / Landscaping experience
​Excellent People and client relationship skills
Full clean U.K driving licence with access to transport
Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental regulations
Line management experience
Excellent IT skills
Desirable Experience
Environmental Contracting
Countryside Management
Biodiversity Net Gain Knowledge
Experience of working with local authorities
Experience in planting and soft landscaping
​Experience of working in the area.

This is a full time Monday-Friday position with some flexibility.
