ENVIRONMENT:

Our Client is a well-established commercial property brokerage with a strong reputation in the industry. They are seeking a Senior Broker to play a key role in recruitment as well as supporting the broker team, enhancing team performance, and identifying training needs to ensure a high-performing, results-driven sales and leasing team.

DUTIES:

Leadership, growth and & Team Development

  • Actively assist in recruitment of brokers according to the pre-determined broker compliment.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for the broking team, providing guidance on market strategies, negotiation tactics, and client engagement.
  • Assist in onboarding new brokers, ensuring they understand company policies, market dynamics, and best practices.
  • Identify skills gaps and recommend training programs to enhance team performance.
  • Encourage a collaborative team environment, ensuring that best practices are shared across the team.
  • Support the Head of Broking in team performance reviews and strategic planning.

Sales, Leasing & Negotiation

  • Actively negotiate and close high-value leasing and sales transactions in the commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Provide strategic input on complex deals, supporting brokers in structuring transactions for maximum value.
  • Work closely with landlords, investors, and corporate clients to secure premium property deals.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

Market Research & Business Intelligence

  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Regularly engage with property owners and developers to identify upcoming opportunities.
  • Assist in developing market reports and insights that support the team in making informed decisions.

 Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Generate a minimum of 20 new leads per month, while also assisting the broking team in achieving their targets as per their KPI's.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to attract new business.
  • Support brokers in client pitches and proposal development to improve conversion rates.
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and drive repeat business through value-added services.

Client Relationship Management & Service Excellence

  • Ensure that all client interactions reflect the Agency's commitment to service excellence.
  • Guide brokers in handling client objections, closing negotiations, and structuring lease agreements.
  • Monitor client feedback and satisfaction levels, ensuring that high standards of service are maintained.

Compliance & Professional Conduct

  • The Senior Brokermust ensure that all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory standards are upheld within the branch.
  • Confidentiality and integrity must be maintained in all dealings with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • The Senior Brokeris expected to lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and accountability.
