About the roleAs a Crisis Recovery Worker, working within a small team, you will be required to provide a high quality, recovery focused service to our clients who have a range of mental health and autistic traits as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion. You will work alongside Peer Support Workers (PSW) and Clinicians to achieve the best person-centred care with the client for their recovery, whether that be joint working with other services to support them to make reasonable adjustments or PSW so patients can learn and practice skills. About youYou will have experience of working with Mental Health and will be able to inspire and engage people. You will have the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills. This will include one to one engagement and facilitating group-based activities, sign posting and engaging people in mainstream provision. You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs including mental health, learning, physical and substance misuse would be an advantage forthis post. Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required for the role.It is essential that you hold a Health and Social Care level 2 or level 3 and be willing to develop further as the role requires.
