Class 1 Night Driver

Rapier Employment is currently seeking reliable Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Bedford.

Shifts: Start times between 18:00 - 02:00 (ad hoc & weekends available)
Pay Rates:

Basic (per hour): £17.75 - £19.93
Overtime (45hrs+): £24.21 - £26.39
Bank Holidays: £35.50 - £39.86Job Details:

Chilled & frozen deliveries (1-2 store drops)
10-12-hour shifts
Vehicles pre-loaded (driver assists with unloading)
Driving both artic & rigid lorries 
Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods.
Ensure timely delivery and collection of products.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies as well as company policies and procedures.
Handle roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required. 
 Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence (1 year+)
CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
