Job title: Design Engineer
Location: Leicestershire (1 day in office per week)
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fire and security systems for a diverse range of projects. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and installation teams to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.

Develop detailed design plans for fire alarm, intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems.
Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and constraints.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and schematics using CAD software.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure design specifications align with project goals and regulatory standards.
Review and approve system designs and engineering documentation.
Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.Qualifications:

Experienced fire design engineer (FIA design qualification or similar).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
Technical knowledge of Hochiki, Gent, Advanced, Ziton.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, UL standards, and other relevant regulations.
