Trainee Fire Extinguisher Service Technician

Location Requirements

  • Based in or near Slough, Reading, Oxford, Swindon, or surrounding areas. Candidates living on the outskirts of London inside the M25 (e.g., Hayes or Ashford) are also welcome to apply.

OR

  • Based in or around Birmingham. Applicants from areas east of Coventry will not be suitable due to location.

The Role

As a Trainee Fire Extinguisher Service Technician, you will:

  • Learn to install, maintain, and service fire extinguishers and related safety equipment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and tailored advice to clients.
  • Utilise digital tools to manage and record your work efficiently.
  • Cover a designated regional area, with occasional travel and overnight stays.

Salary: £30,900 upon qualification.

Training: Fully funded program leading to industry-recognised certification.

What We're Looking For ( Requirements)

  • Previous experience in field-based or independent roles is a plus.
  • Strong IT skills, including familiarity with mobile devices and basic software.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Basic qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE level or equivalent).
  • Full driving licence and ability to meet background check requirements.
