Protecting Vulnerable Adults: Adults Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding Team (Derby)

Are you a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding vulnerable adults? We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join our Adult Safeguarding Team in Derby.

About the Role:

Conduct thorough and timely investigations into allegations of abuse and neglect of adults at risk.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including police, health professionals, and other social care providers, to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults.
Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans to protect adults from harm and promote their safety and independence.
Provide support and guidance to families and carers of vulnerable adults.
Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable adults.

Requirements:

Registered with Social Care England.
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Social Worker.
Significant experience in adult safeguarding is essential.
Excellent assessment, investigation, and report writing skills.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
