An award winning advertising agency are hiring for a accounts payable assistant to join their dynamic team on a 6 month contract.

With a AP manager to support you, you'll take responsibility of the full AP cycle from processing invoices to performing payment runs for multiple entities in the agency.

Responsibilities - Finance Assistant

• Process and review supplier invoices in a timely manner
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies
• Assist with payment runs, including prepaying payment schedules and processing payments
• Assist in month-end and year-end close, including journal entries
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any AP-related issues

The Person - Finance Assistant

• Previous experience in a accounts payable role, ideally within the advertising or creative services industry
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive and eager to learn approach
• Ability to communicate well with wider agency staff and suppliers verbally and in writing
• Proficient accounting software knowledge and Excel skills (e.g pivot tables, v-lookups)
