Van driver in Birstall - ongoing placement.

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Recruit A Driver are recruiting for a ongoing, multidrop van driver to drive for our Birstall based client.

About the role

As a Recruit A Driver Van Driver for our client, you will expect:

• To drive refrigerated vehicles making Up to 25 drops max in close proximity.
• To carry out the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
• To be tech savvy, using handheld terminals when making the deliveries.
• To ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards, of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.
• Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, & are operated in a safe manner.

What you need to know:

• Working times: Start time between 05.00 and 07.00 but may be earlier, run dependant.
• Shift pattern: Working Monday to Friday

What you must have:

• Must hold a valid category B license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Must have experience driving a commercial vehiclewithin the last six months, ideally 12 months.
• Must have no more than 6 points on license for minoroffences.
