We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to the academic and personal growth of our students.

Job Description:We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work closely with classroom teachers, providing support to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day classroom activities, help manage behaviour, and provide individual or small group support where needed. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help with their learning.
  • Help prepare classroom resources and organise activities.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to provide holistic support to students.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable, but not essential.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
