Bariatric Dietitian (Locum band 6 or 7) x 2 Roles

Role 1 - Dietitian for Acute team - band 6 or 7 with experience in acute dietetics - Part time 22.5 hours

Role 2 - Dietitian 0.6WTE for Bariatric team band 6 or 7 experience with weight loss / bariatrics (Full time)

Experience

* Post graduate experience in clinical dietetics

* Previous experience working in the nutritional management of patients with morbid obesity and bariatric surgery

* Experience of undertaking clinical audit

* Experience of multidisciplinary team working

* Knowledge of professional code of conduct and guidance issued by your professional body and adherence to these.

* Well established and in depth knowledge of a range of recent developments in practice

Desirable

* Experience of facilitating patient group sessions

* Knowledge of National guidelines relating to obesity and bariatric surgery e.g. NICE, BOMSS

* Knowledge of the types of bariatric surgery and the dietetic implications of these

Qualifications

* Master's Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent relevant experience

* HCPC registration
