ROLE:  Field Electrical Engineer
                               
LOCATION:  HQ Lower Darwen.
 
SALARY: Base £45'000 - £52'000 dependant on experience. Plus overtime.
OTE approx. 58 - 62K.
Company Vehicle + ½ day finish on a Friday.

This growth business leads a group of 4 successful brands with a combined global turnover of $140 million.
 
We are currently searching for a Field Electrical Engineer to join the team supporting the customer on site, providing technical direction, technical solutions needed for installation or maintenance of the designed bespoke equipment.
 
75-80% travel. UK, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland.
 
Field Electrical Engineer key skills:

Hands on approach is absolutely key.
Essential exposure to maintenance, installation, repair both Electrically and Mechanically.
Ability to diagnose equipment, ability to read and understand system schematics, technical drawings, PLC and HMI programs.
Ability to travel UK and Europe with a UK driving license.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ideally with some exposure from product movement or handling. (Could be from the Food/ waste recycling/ confectionery / pharmaceutical /Paint/Bakery or Building industry.) 
Field Electrical Engineer attributes:

The ideal Field Electrical Engineer candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with an interest in manufacturing or an interest of working within a technical environment.
Completed a Modern Apprenticeship and achieved a HNC or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Experience of using Electrical CAD package.
PLC/HMI programming experience.
Ability to balance many tasks at the same time. Time management is key.
Positive attitude and manner.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationships.
