Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in Guildford. In this key role, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical plants, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. You will play a critical part in maintaining compliance with relevant standards while managing a dedicated team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and maintaining mechanical plant equipment while ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards. You will provide expert knowledge and guidance on air handling units (AHUs) to support daily operations. A key part of the role is utilizing your understanding of HTM03 regulations, and ideally acting as an Authorised Person (AP) to uphold high standards of compliance. You will participate in the on-call rota, offering essential support when required. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety, while coordinating with other supervisors and senior management to ensure smooth operational integration.

About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive knowledge of mechanical plant operations, particularly in managing air handling units (AHUs). Familiarity with HTM03 regulations is essential, and experience in an AP role is highly desirable. You will need strong leadership skills to effectively supervise, mentor, and manage a team. A proactive and safety-focused mindset is crucial, along with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
