We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming primary school in Halewood. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide essential support in the classroom, helping to ensure that all students have the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day activities and learning tasks.

* Supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, tailored to their individual needs.

* Helping to prepare resources and set up the classroom for lessons.

* Encouraging positive behavior and supporting children's emotional and social development.

* Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans and providing feedback to the teacher on pupil progress.

* Contributing to the school's inclusive ethos and working as part of the wider school team.

About You:

* Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential).

* A positive, energetic, and patient approach to working with children.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* The ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

* Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
