Y3/4 Teacher - DL12 Barnard Castle area

Job Overview:

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3/4 Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the Barnard Castle (DL12) area. This is a full-time maternity cover role, starting in November 2024 and running until July 2025. You will be teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class, delivering engaging lessons that support and inspire pupils' development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference and helping pupils thrive in Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to meet the needs of mixed Year 3/4 pupils
Assess and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback to both pupils and parents
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Support the social and emotional development of pupils
Collaborate with teaching staff and school leadership to contribute to a cohesive educational experience

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience within Key Stage 2 (preferred but not essential)
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A commitment to nurturing and developing the potential of every pupil
