Staff Nurse RGN

Our client is looking for an experienced Staff Nurse (RGN) for night shifts. This role offers 36 hours per week at a competitive rate of £22 per hour. The nursing home, located near the town centre, is a beautifully restored Victorian manor, it caters to those with complex and nursing needs.

With a commitment to high-quality care, our client ensures that all staff receive comprehensive training, empowering them to go above and beyond for each resident's well-being.

Requirements:
  • Qualified RGN with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Proven experience in a nursing home or similar care setting, with a background in caring for both elderly residents and those with physical disabilities preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and care planning.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to working with residents, families, and the care team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, resident-focused care and a passion for making a meaningful difference in residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with individual care plans and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor residents' health status closely, responding to changes and collaborating with the wider care team to adjust care plans as needed.
  • Support and guide care assistants, creating a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Document all care activities accurately, maintaining clear and up-to-date records that meet regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively with residents' families, updating them regularly and involving them in their loved ones' care as appropriate.
