Web Developer - Kentico

Northampton

£60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience + 15% bonus scheme

Our market-leading client is looking to secure the services of a Web Developer with Kentico experience. As a web developer you will be responsible assisting in the development of both our new Kentico based Tenant Portal and our Sales Power Apps Portal

Key requirements for the Web Developer role:

  • To be the SME for web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap etc
  • To ensure, with the support of their Development team peers and Technical Architects, that development work is delivered on time and budget and in line with the technical vision for the project and company best practices.
  • Build web pages in both the Kentico and Power Apps platforms
  • Follow established design guidelines
  • Performing peer reviews against the work of others, in line with quality standards.
  • Refining and estimating work using standard Agile practices and methodologies.
  • Liaise with users to refine requirements and deliver better solutions
  • To strive to improve technical and agile skills, both through on-the-job upskilling and through requesting support/training where necessary.
  • Creating and maintaining sufficient levels of documentation for the solutions produced

Skills & experience of a Web Developer role:

  • Experience with Kentico
  • Technical competency in server-side development, with a focus on web technologies and associated frameworks, predominantly based upon ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core or Node, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
  • Experience of .NET, C#, SQL, Azure B2C, APIM
  • Experience with user experience (UX) design
  • Azure/Cloud Devops deployment experience
  • Agile experience: Writing Epics, Personas, and User Stories
  • Writing and execution of test cases that tie to design requirements
  • Experience of Progressive Web Apps and it’s offline functionality
  • Experience in full life cycle of complex software deployment projects
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • A working knowledge of source control techniques, specifically using Git
  • Capture bugs and enhancements requests
  • Experience with Jira or similar
  • An understanding of the different types of testing, including experience of Unit Testing
