We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our client's dynamic Operations team, which is the engine room of the business. The team provides vital support to their sales and site teams, ensuring a gold standard and professional delivery of every order.

Job Summary

As an Operations Administrator, your will facilitate our client's operational requirements, ensuring targets are met and administration tasks are fulfilled. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to their customers. Your responsibilities will include processing and coordinating projects, approving purchase invoices, supporting a sub-team of account managers, and providing dedicated support to a small team of engineers.

Primary Objectives

  • Be a key player in a fast-paced Operations team, supporting all areas of the business and liaising with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Process and coordinate projects from point of order through to invoice.
  • Approve purchase invoices and support with stock take queries.
  • Support a sub-team of account managers, raising tickets on the internal intranet, and assisting with any queries they have.
  • Provide daily dedicated support to a small team of engineers, ensuring their jobs are processed and booked, parts are ordered and in stock, and reports and sample results are issued to customers within set KPI timeframes.

  • Broad knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Good logical and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn other software.

  • A flexible individual driven to succeed and meet deadlines, willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Well-motivated and hardworking, with excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.

  • Calm, supportive, and approachable under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude.
