Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a long term client on the appointment of a temporary design engineer on a rolling contract. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking for their first contract role, or someone who enjoys a variety of work.

Ideally, candidates will have broad design for manufacture experience and be well versed with technical drawings and engineering calculations.

Role Responsibilities:

* Support and/or lead small to medium sized product modification projects from concept through to design and production release.

* Identify and implement product design solutions to solve current product issues in manufacturing, material supply and at the customer.

* Assist with cost reduction projects that require R&D input.

* Provide R&D support including proto type development on customer specific tenders

Role Requirements:

* Degree Qualified

* Experience with new product development

* Worked within multi discliplinary environment
