Salary: £45000 - £54000/annum hybrid / remote working

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Traffic Signals Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary transport technology team.

This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to provide technical leadership on projects spanning both the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing technical leadership on traffic signals projects
Ensuring the highest levels of quality in project deliverables
Working on projects in both the public and private sectors
Designing and validating MOVA and SCOOT systems
Travelling to various site locations as project demands dictate
Utilising CAD and traffic signals design software such as LinSig
Applying CDM 2015, health & safety management, and environmental standards
Project management and adhering to Conditions of Contracts

Job Requirements:

Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
Significant experience in the traffic signals industry
Strong knowledge of relevant design standards, best practice guidance, and legislation
Experience with MOVA and SCOOT design, validation experience desirable
UTC database experience an advantage
Competent in the use of CAD and LinSig
Knowledge of health & safety management, quality, and environmental standards
Excellent written and oral communication skills
