 Role Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their Glasgow-based team.   This role will be crucial in managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to the final account stage.   The successful candidate will ensure seamless daily commercial operations and provide essential support to project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from tender to final account completion.
Oversee subcontract works packages, including change management and interim assessments.
Facilitate smooth commercial operations on-site.
Handle procurement management and produce accurate project cost forecasts.
Conduct commercial reporting and offer commercial support to project teams as needed.
Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
 Required Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering sector, ideally with experience in concrete, steel structures, M&E, and drainage.
A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant commercial discipline.
Familiarity with various contracts, with an emphasis on bespoke contract forms.
