With over 100 years of industry experience, the company is recognized as one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors. They're looking for a Labour Administrator to join the team in Warrington.
 
Purpose of the role:
To provide the labour department with the highest standard of administration, ensuring accurate records and information are maintained to support the activities of the team and its stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
·Employment Applications: Process all employment applications for the company and Satisfy Recruitment Services. Obtain a minimum of three references (where practicable) from previous employers to ensure only suitably skilled personnel are offered employment.
·Database Management: Enter all employment applications, references, and site employee assessment details into the labour database.
·Contract Distribution: Ensure all new employees receive a Contract of Employment and Personnel Policies and Procedures.
·Labour Board and Reports: Regularly update the Labour Board and produce and distribute Monthly Labour Reports to relevant personnel.
·Communication Management: Respond appropriately to incoming telephone calls, emails, and other correspondence in the Labour Manager's absence.
·Industrial Relations: Maintain harmonious industrial relations with all hourly-paid site PAYE employees and agency personnel.
·Timesheet Processing: Understand, interpret, and assist with processing Weekly Timesheets correctly to ensure all hourly-paid site personnel are paid accurately according to the applicable Site Labour Agreement.
·Team Support: Provide support to other members of the Administration Team during holidays, absences, or illness.
 
Skills and Knowledge:

Essential Skills:
·Minimum of 2 years' administrative experience within a medium or large industrial organization.
·Good interpersonal skills.
·Strong communication skills.
·Proficient IT skills.
·Ability to act on own initiative.
·Ability to work effectively as a team member within a small group.
·Good knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
Special Features:
·Confidentiality: Must manage sensitive and highly confidential information with a high level of discretion.
·Industry Awareness: Good awareness of different site working agreements, such as JIB, SJIB, NAECI, and Coryton Contractors Agreement.
·Record Keeping: Ensure high standards of record maintenance.
·Proactivity: Have a proactive attitude towards arranging external training courses for hourly-paid site employees and fostering a company team spirit.
·Performance Reviews: Willingness to undertake annual performance reviews and participate actively in all internal and external training courses.
 
Qualifications:
