We are currently seeking a Materials Planner to play a pivotal role in our supply chain team. Reporting to the Demand and Capacity Manager, you'll be responsible for managing material forecasts, driving customer service excellence, and supporting operational efficiency through effective planning, data management, and collaboration across functions.

Days of work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (can be negotiable on this)

What You Can Expect:

* Forecasting & Planning: Prepare weekly, fortnightly, and monthly material forecasts, ensuring supply levels align with customer demand and operational requirements.

* Supplier Collaboration: Monitor supplier performance and address any issues with meeting demand, working closely with the Materials Lead to resolve concerns.

* Cross-Functional Relationships: Build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers to support new product development (NPD) projects and optimize material management processes.

* OTIF Reporting: Oversee On-Time In-Full (OTIF) reporting, identifying and addressing reasons for supply chain failures and recommending improvements.

* Project Support: Provide support for various supply chain initiatives and projects, assisting the Materials Lead and Demand and Capacity Manager as required.

What We're Looking For:

* Supply Chain Knowledge: A supply chain qualification or equivalent experience in materials planning is ideal.

* FMCG Experience: Prior experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment is essential, particularly within materials planning and supply chain management.

* Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret reports, making recommendations to improve efficiency and business performance.

* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to negotiate with suppliers and collaborate effectively across teams.

* Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions and drive continuous improvement.
