SEN Cover Supervisor - September

Introduction

Qualiteach Yorkshire are supporting a leading SEN provision in Leeds who are growing their team in September and are looking for a new SEN Cover Supervisor to join them.

This could suit someone who has worked with SEN learners within a mainstream setting or someone from an alternative background who has transferrable skills.

This is a permanent appointment.

Job Title Responsibilities

* Support learners with SEMH, Autism and other complex learning needs

* Cover lessons when class teacher is absent

* Create a safe and positive learning environment

* Work alongside other support behaviour mentors, teaching assistants and other support staff across school

* Support the class teacher, SLT and wider school community

Job Title Requirements

* Experience working with and supporting learners with SEN

* Experience covering lessons

* A good understanding of SEN

* Full time availability from September

* Excellent classroom and behaviour management
