The role requires an comprehensive understanding of PAYE/NIC legislation and will involve calculation of payments, HMRC reports, SSP, SMP etc. The service levels offered by this business is second to none therefore it is imperative that you are attentive, thorough and discreet with your work. 

It would be advantageous if you have managed a portfolio of client payrolls previously eg in a payroll bureau or maybe a Business Outsourcing or Business Services arm of a firm of chartered accountants.
